Halloween Pins: Guest Post by Christine Martinez of LAMA Designs

In honor of Halloween, I invited my good friend and prolific pinner, Christine Martinez, to do a special Halloween post. Christine is the owner of LAMA Designs and a contributor to Dog Milk, a site dedicated to modern doggy design. Christine is also far and away the best party planner that I know. Enjoy!
Halloween Pins!
For all of us, Halloween is the official kick-off to the holiday season. And as someone who loves to celebrate in style, I coudn’t be more thrilled about all the terrific Halloween inspiration that has been popping up on Pinterest recently. For me, Pinterest is much more than a forum to showcase all of my own finds; it is a fantastic one-stop site for ideas on costumes, spooky home decor, ghoulish invitations, and freakishly festive foods and desserts. As an avid pinner, this is the first time that I have been able to put my pins to immediate use, and I am so excited about how applicable Pinterest is to my life.
If you’re looking for some Halloween inspiration, check out some of my favorite Halloween pins and boards (so far).
No great party should ever get started without the perfect invitation to get your guests excited about what’s to come. Not throwing a Halloween party? Sending a spirited greeting to a friend or family member is always a fun treat.

Than there’s the number one heard and asked question at this time of the year to cover, “What are you going to be for Halloween this year?”
Here are some great ideas for adults:

For babies and kids:

and pets:

Hallween decor ideas on Pinterest have been especially inspiring to check out. If you love decorating your home for the holidays as much as I do, these pins are a great place to start.

Of course, it just wouldn’t be Halloween without pumpkins!

Or Halloween treats.

But if you happen to be the type of person who likes to have a low-key Halloween evening, than I highly suggest watching a classic movie or curling up with a good book…

So if you/re going to stay in, fix yourself a creepy coctail (or a few)…

and have sweet dreams about Halloweens past.

Of course, you can always pin all night. We love to see what you have to pin! Happy Halloween to everyone and a big Pinterest thank you to pinners Tamra Irons, Rebecca English, Zellain Dystopia, and Jane Wang for your awesome Halloween pins! You can catch some of mine and Pinterest co-founder Ben Silbermann’s favorite Halloween pins over on our Hallween Party 2010 board.
