Pinteresting Trend: Triangles
Given our strong community of graphic designers, typography aficionados, and general pattern-fans, geometric motifs have always had a strong presence on Pinterest. But when we can’t scroll through one page without seeing 5 or more pins involving triangles in one interesting form or another, you know it’s a trend.
Event pennants, creative typography, or even plastered across a whole wall, triangles are easily the most dominant geometric pattern amongst pinners right now. We even narrowed it down to those Euclidian wonders - the great equilateral triangle - and were still able to come up with the following polygonal pins in one quick browse:
1. Mosaic wallpaper by Minakani Walls; pinned by Matt onto Patterns.
2. Hitched Palm Springs wedding showcase event photographed by Erin Hearts Court; pinned by Ayesha onto Homespun Inspiration.
3. Make Music Not War print by Brian Gosset; pinned by Melanie onto Typography.
4. Leather triangle bags by Ulala, pinned by Junia onto For the Ladies.
