Stay at home dad Adrian Kulp surely doesn’t have any shortage of stories when it comes to sharing adventures with his kids. From the truth behind terrible twos to finding parenting advice on Pinterest, he takes us behind the scenes to his world of being a dad and everything in between.

Hi Adrian! First, can you tell us a little about yourself?

I’m currently a full-time stay-at-home dad for two toddlers, Ava and Charlie. Before doing this, I was an executive for both Adam Sandler and Chelsea Handler for almost ten years. Since leaving the entertainment industry, I’ve been blogging at Dad or Alive, as well as The Huffington Post. I recently wrote and published a comedic memoir through Penguin about my first year as a stay-at-home dad and it’s on sale now!

What’s your greatest confession as a stay-at home dad?

Hmmm… that it’s not easy? Being a stay at home dad is tougher than any job I’ve had thus far. These kids keep you on your toes!

One confession is the truth behind terrible 2’s. Everyone always told me that the 2’s were so terrible, but I’m here to tell you that it’s the 3’s. The 3’s are where it’s at.

What are some of your favorite parenting advice that you’ve found on Pinterest?

Pinterest has given me a ton. I’ve gotten advice on getting my kids to sleep through the night, eat healthier and how to soothe aching gums from teething. I’ve learned how to get marker off my walls and make my own cleaning solutions. My next mission is to find ways to keep the kids busy this summer since school is out!

What are your plans for Father’s Day this weekend? Any advice for those planning something special for Dad?

I’m actually doing a reading and signing at a Barnes n’ Noble in my hometown for my first book Dad or Alive. I’m also going fishing with my dad, which should be a good time. Advice for those planning something for dad? Keep it simple! Sometimes it’s nice to just relax and enjoy family.

Thanks for the pinterview and taking us behind the scenes of parenthood, Adrian! To see more of Adrian’s work, check out his blog and boards on Pinterest.
