Updated on December 2, 2013: New improvements coming soon
After trying out the edit button that we announced here back in July, we heard feedback that you’d like easier ways to see the best stuff in your feed. We’re working on improving this feature, so you won’t be able to access it right now. Please stay tuned for updates, and thanks as always for your feedback.

We want you to feel like Pinterest is really yours—so in the next few weeks we’ll be trying out new ways to help you see more pins you love, and fewer you don’t.

    Here’s what’s coming:

    A new Edit button…

Use the Edit Your Home Feed button to get your feed just how you want it, from the web or your phone. Go to Follow Boards to see stuff you might like based on what you’ve been pinning. (So if you pins lots of outdoorsy stuff, we’ll try to show you rock climbing, kayaking or backpacking boards. And the more you pin, the better our recommendations will get!) Or, go to Unfollow Boards to stop seeing stuff you’re not that into anymore.

    May we suggest…

If you’re interested, we’ll also suggest personalized pins and boards based on websites you go to that have the Pin It button. So if you’re planning a party and have gone to lots of party sites recently, we’ll try to suggest boards to make your event a hit. You can learn more about personalized pins and boards in our Help Center or updated privacy policy.

We’re excited to give everyone a more personalized experience, but we also understand if you’re not interested! We support Do Not Track, and you can change your account settings anytime.

Here’s to a homier home feed!

We’ll keep working to help you see more stuff you love when you come to Pinterest. Meanwhile, we hope you like the updates!
